Recommendation Concerning Out-of-County Travel for Commissioner Grover C. Robinson, IV, to Attend the 2014 Sayfie Florida Leader's Summit in Orlando, Florida, on December 4th and 5th, 2014 - Jack R. Brown, County Administrator

That the Board approve out-of-County travel for Commissioner Grover C. Robinson, IV, to attend the 2014 Sayfie Florida Leader's Summit in Orlando, Florida, on December 4th and December 5th, 2014.

BACKGROUND:

As the President of the Florida Association of Counties, Comr. Robinson received an invitation to the 2014 Sayfie Florida Leader's Summit being held on December 4th and 5th, 2014, in Orlando, Florida. Organizers of this invitation only event have made it a point to include key County Commissioners from across the state to attend this year's Leader's Summitt.

BUDGETARY IMPACT:

The estimated cost of this trip is $1,500 with funding coming from the Board's travel Cost Center 110101, Object Code 54001.

POLICY/REQUIREMENT FOR BOARD ACTION:

This request is in compliance with the Board's policy on out-of-County Travel, Section I, Part C, Item Number 4.

IMPLEMENTATION/COORDINATION:

Upon approval of the Board, the County Administrator's Office will handle the travel arrangements associated with this trip.
