RECOMMENDATION:

5:33 p.m. Public Hearing for consideration of adopting an Ordinance regulating large outdoor entertainment events.

Recommendation: That the Board adopt and authorize the Chairman to sign, an Ordinance that will regulate large outdoor entertainment events.

BACKGROUND:

On October 16, 2014, the Board approved setting the Public Hearing at 5:33 p.m. on November 6, 2014 for consideration of adopting a large outdoor entertainment event ordinance.

At its Committee of the Whole meeting on September 11, 2014, the Board discussed and directed the County Attorney's Office to prepare an ordinance regulating large outdoor entertainment events.

The proposed Ordinance was drafted by Senior Assistant County Attorney, Stephen G. West.
