Recommendation Concerning the Request for Disposition of Property Form for the Public Safety Department - Jason Rogers, Public Safety Department Director
That the Board approve the Request for Disposition of Property Form for the Public Safety Department, for property which is described and listed on the Form, with reason for disposition stated. The listed items have been found to be of no further usefulness to the County; thus, it is requested that they be auctioned as surplus or disposed of properly.
BACKGROUND:
Escambia County policy establishes the procedures for disposing of surplus or obsolete equipment. The surplus property listed on the attached Request for Disposition of Property Form has been checked, declared to be obsolete and/or of no use to the County, and suitable to be auctioned or disposed of properly.

POLICY/REQUIREMENT FOR BOARD ACTION:
This Recommendation is in compliance with FS 274.07 and BCC Policy B-1,2, Section II, Procedures for Disposition of County Property.
IMPLEMENTATION/COORDINATION:
The Public Safety Department will coordinate with Fleet Maintenance for proper disposal of items.
