Recommendation Concerning the Scheduling of a Public Hearing for the Crimson Pointe Subdivision Street Lighting Municipal Service Benefit Unit - Stephan Hall, Budget Manager, Management & Budget Services
That the Board authorize the scheduling of a Public Hearing on November 18, 2019, at 9:01 a.m., to consider adoption of an Ordinance creating the Crimson Pointe Subdivision Street Lighting Municipal Services Benefit Unit (MSBU).
BACKGROUND:
The builder of Crimson Pointe Subdivision, DSLD Homes, LLC submitted a letter of request asking to create a street lighting MSBU. The letter of request is sufficient to meet the MSBU Guidelines and Procedures because the builder owns greater than 55% of parcels in the subdivision.
The Crimson Pointe Subdivision Street Lighting MSBU plan proposal:
* 35 assessable lots located in Commission District 1
* 9 street lights
* Assessments are estimated to be:
1st year - $204 (includes a reserve and 22 months of costs),
Subsequent years - $106
