RECOMMENDATION:
Recommendation Concerning the State of Florida Department of Transportation Local Agency Program Supplemental Agreement No. 001, for the Design of the Escambia County Ferry Landing at Quietwater Beach PH II - Joy Jones, P.E., Engineering Department Director
That the Board take the following action concerning the State of Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) Local Agency Program (LAP) Supplemental Agreement No. 001, between the State of Florida Department of Transportation and Escambia County, for the design of the Escambia County Ferry Landing at Quietwater Beach PH II Project:
A. Ratify the Chairman's signature for the State of Florida Department of Transportation LAP Supplemental Agreement No. 001, between the State of Florida Department of Transportation and Escambia County, for the design of the Escambia County Ferry Landing at Quietwater Beach PH II Project, which updates FDOT's Exhibit 1 within the executed Agreement; and
B. Authorize the Chairman to execute, subject to Legal review and sign-off, any subsequent Agreements and program-related documents for this project that do not alter the finite terms of funding amounts or budgets.
BACKGROUND:
The original purpose of this Agreement, approved by the Board on May 3, 2018, was to enter into a Local Agency Program (LAP) Agreement between Escambia County (hereinafter referred to as the County) and the Florida Department of Transportation (hereinafter referred to as the Department and/or FDOT) regarding design of the Escambia County Ferry Landing at Quietwater Beach PH II project.
The Agreement is being amended to update FDOT's Exhibit 1 within the executed Agreement. The original Exhibit 1 did not have the correct Catalog of Federal Domestic Assistance (CFDA) number. This updated Exhibit reflects the corrected CFDA.

Kristin Hual, Senior Assistant County Attorney, has reviewed and signed off on Supplemental Agreement 001.

Board policy requires Board approval of all Agreements.
IMPLEMENTATION/COORDINATION:
County staff will continue to coordinate with FDOT staff during construction of the project.
