Recommendation Concerning the Contract Award for Re-Solicit Special Magistrate - Paul Nobles, Purchasing Manager, Office of Purchasing
That the Board take the following action concerning the Agreement for Special Magistrate, PD 17-18.077, Re-Solicit Special Magistrate:
A. Award, and authorize the Chairman to sign, Continuing Contracts to John B. Trawick, P.L.L.C., Farrar Law Firm, P.A. and Robert O. Beasley, P.A., per the terms and conditions of PD 17-18.077, Re-Solicit Special Magistrate, based on the following fees:
1. Special Magistrate, in the amount of $155 per hour; and
2. Paralegal in the amount of $75 per hour; and
B. Authorize the Department(s), in conjunction with the Office of Purchasing to issue Purchase Orders as required.

BACKGROUND:
Request for Proposals, PD 17-18.077, Re-Solicit Special Magistrate was publicly noticed on June 4, 2018, to eight known firms. Responses were received June 14, 2018 from three firms. The Proposal Review Committee met on June 19, 2018 to review the proposals. Proposals were accepted from all three firms. The representatives of John B. Trawick, P.L.L.C., Farrar Law Firm, P.A. and Robert O. Beasley, P.A. agreed to the same hourly rates and are recommended by the Proposal Review Committee for award of the Agreement.

The Office of Purchasing will issue the Agrement and associated Purchase Orders.
