Recommendation Concerning the Contract Award for Lubrication Products - Paul Nobles, Purchasing Manager, Office of Purchasing
That the Board approve and authorize the Interim County Administrator to sign the Agreement between Escambia County, Florida, and Auto, Truck, and Industrial Parts and Supply, Inc., per the terms and conditions of PD 18-19.038, Lubrication Products, for an indefinite quantity, indefinite delivery Contract, with an estimated annual value of $74,914.99.

BACKGROUND:
This solicitation provides for a County wide Bulk Lubrication Contract for all BOCC Departments. This project includes delivery of needed oil products to all locations for fleet maintenance and oil consumption needs.
The solicitation was advertised in the Pensacola News Journal on April 1, 2019. A Pre-bid meeting was held on April 16, 2019. The first bid Opening was held on May 7, 2019 resulted in no Bids received. The Bid period was extended. The second Bid Opening was held on May 20, 2019, with one bid received from Auto, Truck, and Industrial Parts and Supply, Inc..

IMPLEMENTATION/COORDINATION:
The Office of Purchasing will issue the Attorney's Contract and related Purchase Orders.
