Recommendation Concerning Supplemental Budget Amendment #155 - Stephan Hall, Budget Manager, Management and Budget Services
That the Board adopt the Resolution approving Supplemental Budget Amendment #155, General Fund (001) and Local Option Sales Tax Ill (LOST) Fund (352), in the amount of $38,952, to recognize the Sheriffs off-duty officer, investigative costs, auto repairs, and miscellaneous reimbursements/fees ($32,197), and the proceeds from the sale/auction of older, high-mileage vehicle that were purchased with LOST ($6,755), and to appropriate these funds back into the Sheriffs Administrative Budget, to offset operational expenses and the LOST portion back into LOST Project 08SH0018, for future vehicle/equipment purchases.
BACKGROUND:
The Sheriffs Department has received off-duty officer, auto repairs, investigative costs and miscellaneous costs reimbursements/fees associated with providing law enforcement and services in Escambia County totaling $32,197 will be placed back into the Sheriffs General Fund Budget to off-set programmatic costs. The Sheriff also sold/auctioned one vehicle originally purchased with LOST totaling $6,755, funds will be placed back into the Sheriffs LOST allocation for future vehicles/equipment purchases.
BUDGETARY IMPACT:
This Amendment will increase Fund 001 (General Fund) by $32,197 and Fund 352 (LOST Ill) by $6,755.
