Use of the Artel Galley by the Pensacola Sister Cities

RECOMMENDATION:
Recommendation Concerning Allowing the Pensacola Sister Cities to Use the Artel Gallery to host a Reception in Honor of the Visiting Delegation from Malaga/Macharaviaya in South Andalucia, Spain - Jack R. Brown, County Administrator
That the Board take the following action concerning the use of the Artel Gallery:
A. Approve the use of the Artel Gallery space for the Pensacola Sister Cities and the Artel Gallery to hold a reception in of honor the visiting delegation from Malaga/Macharaviaya in South Andalucia, Spain on Wednesday evening, May 10, 2017;
B. Grant permission for them to serve beer, wine, and alcohol at this event pending that the Certificate of Insurance has been received and approved by Robert Dye, Risk Manager, prior to the event; and
C. Require the Pensacola Sister Cities to have the Artel Gallery cleaned up by 10:00 a.m., on Thursday, May 11, 2017.
BACKGROUND:
On April 17, 2017, Ms. Nan Harper with the Pensacola Sister Cities made a request to use the Artel Gallery to host a reception on Wednesday, May 10, 2017, to honor the delegation from our Sister City visiting from Malaga/Macharaviaya in South Andalucia, Spain. At this event, the winner of the Galvez Essay Contest will introduce the Opera, "Catalina of Aragon," written by Dr. John Brannon. The Mayor of Macharaviaya, along with the President of the Congress of Axarquia in Andalucia, Spain, plan to attend this event.
