| RECOMMENDATION: |
Recommendation Concerning Contract Award for MC Blanchard Judicial Building Carpet Replacement - Cassie C. Boatwright, Facilities Management Department Director, through Paul Nobles, Purchasing Manager, Office of Purchasing
That the Board take the following action:
A. Approve the usage of the Florida Department of Management Services Alternate Contract No. 30161700-20-ACS, Flooring Materials, with Related Supplies and Services; and
B. Approve and authorize the County Administrator to sign a Purchase Order, in the amount of $475,498.77, to Interface Americas, Inc., per the terms and conditions of the Florida Department of Management Services Alternate Contract No. 30161700-20-ACS, Flooring Materials, with Related Supplies and Services.

| BACKGROUND: |
Originally advertised as PD 18-19.082, MC Blanchard Judicial Building Carpet Replacement, but due to non-responsive bids and an incomplete scope of work, the solicitation had to be canceled. It was then determined that lower pricing could be provided through the Florida Department of Management Services Alternate Contract No. 30161700-20-ACS, Flooring Materials, with Related Supplies and Services Agreement. Interface Americas, Inc. provided the pricing.
Carpet Creations, Inc., a local company Small Business Enterprise with an office in a local CRA will be providing the installation services. |
