| RECOMMENDATION: |
Recommendation Concerning Individual Purchase Orders for Security Services for Various County Buildings for Fiscal Year 2013-2014 - George Touart, Interim County Administrator
That the Board, for Fiscal Year 2013-2014, approve the issuance of individual Purchase Orders, based on Amendment #3 to the Agreement for Security Services, PD 10-11.043, to Securitas Security Services, USA, Inc., for the following buildings:
A. The MC Blanchard Judicial Center, Juvenile Justice Center, and Child Support Center, in the amount of $230,000; and
B. The Ernie Lee Magaha Government Building, in the amount of $35,000.

| BACKGROUND: |
| The issuance of these Purchase Order's is necessary to ensure that security services are provided for in the M. C. Blanchard Judicial Center, Juvenile Justice Center, Child Support Center, and the Ernie Lee Magaha Building. |
| BUDGETARY IMPACT: |
Funding for Item A will be from Article-V (115), Cost Center 410505, Object Code 53401, and funding for Item B will be from Cost Center 110201, Object Code 53401.

| POLICY/REQUIREMENT FOR BOARD ACTION: |
| This recommendation is in compliance with the provisions of the Code of Ordinances of Escambia County, Florida, 1999, Chapter 46, Finance, Article II, Purchases and Contracts. |
| IMPLEMENTATION/COORDINATION: |
| The County Administrator's Office/Court Administration will issue purchase orders for their appropriate Cost Centers, upon the approval of the Board of County Commissioners, in accordance with the adoption of the FY 2013-2014 budget. |
