Escambia County has a long history of stormwater drainage problems in the Pace Boulevard/Herman Street/Delano Street area, including flooding of government and private facilities and damage to road and drainage infrastructure.  The County is in the process of designing a project to reduce these drainage problems.  One of the major obstacles in designing a functioning stormwater drainage system for this area is the lack of property for stormwater retention purposes.

Pace Boulevard.  The property owner has agreed to the purchase price and has executed a Contract for Sale and Purchase.  Board authorization is required for the Chairman or Vice Chairman to acknowledge the Board's acceptance of the Contract for Sale and Purchase.
