RECOMMENDATION:

Recommendation Concerning the Assignment of the Agreement (PD 09-10.061) Disaster Management Consulting Services - Amy Lovoy, Management and Budget Services Department Director

That the Board approve and authorize the Chairman to execute the Assignment of the Agreement (PD 09-10.061) between Escambia County, Florida, and Witt Group Holdings, LLC, to Witt O'Brien's, LLC, for Disaster Management Consulting Services, to authorize the name change from Witt Group Holdings, LLC, to Witt O'Brien's, LLC.

BACKGROUND:

On or about September 16, 2013, the County entered into a Contract (PD 09-10.061) with Global Options, Inc., that was subsequently assigned to Witt Group Holdings, LLC. Witt Group Holdings, LLC, filed a formal amendment of name change with the Florida Secretary of State, Division of Corporations, and the new name of the limited liability company authorized to transact business in the State of Florida shall be Witt O'Brien's, LLC.

Assitant County Attorney Kristin Hual prepared the Amendment.
