RECOMMENDATION:
Recommendation Concerning the Request for Disposition of Property for the Waste Services Department - Patrick T. Johnson, Waste Services Department Director

That the Board approve the Disposition of Property Form for the Waste Services Department, for disposition of (1) Chem-Tainer Oil Tank, (1) Sharp Copier, Model ARM350N, and (1) Fluorescent Bulb Crusher.

All property is described and listed on the Disposition Form, with reasons for disposition stated.  Due to the condition of the listed items, they have been found to be of no further usefulness to the County; thus, it is requested that they be auctioned as surplus or appropriately recycled or disposed.
BACKGROUND:
Escambia County policy establishes the procedures for disposing of surplus or obsolete equipment.  The surplus property listed on the attached Requests for Disposition of Property has been checked, declared to be obsolete and/or of no use to the County and suitable to be auctioned or appropriately recycled or disposed.
BUDGETARY IMPACT:
Possible recoup of funds if/when property goes to auction.

POLICY/REQUIREMENT FOR BOARD ACTION:
This recommendation is in compliance with FS 274.07 and BCC Policy B-1,2 Section II, Procedures for Disposition of County Property.
IMPLEMENTATION/COORDINATION:
Upon approval by the BCC, the Disposing Department, Constitutional Officer, or Outside Agency must put items in good condition on the "Pensacola Community Auction" website for thirty (30) days.  All other property will be disposed of according to the Disposition of County Property policies of the BCC.
