RECOMMENDATION:

Recommendation Concerning Supplemental Budget Amendment #191 - Stephan Hall, Budget Manager, Management and Budget Services

That the Board adopt the Resolution approving Supplemental Budget Amendment #191, Misdemeanor Probation Fund (114), and General Fund (001), to recognize a reduction in the Misdemeanor Probation Fund transfer to the General Fund in the amount of $576,782, and to appropriate these funds to increase the amount of cash in the Misdemeanor Probation Fund to maintain continuity of operations within that fund.

BACKGROUND:

The Misdemeanor Probation Fund (114) has run low on cash and requires an emendment to increase the cash in that fund to maintain continuity of operations.The Fund 114 transfer to Fund 001 is 576,782 for FY2017/18, this transfer is being reversed to increase the cash in the short-term until revenues increase to cover the cash shortage.

BUDGETARY IMPACT:

This amendment will decrease Fund 001 and increase Fund 114 by $576,782.
