RECOMMENDATION:

Recommendation Concerning Mobility Enhancement Grant Application and Agreement with the Florida Commission for the Transportation Disadvantaged - Mike Crittenden, Mass Transit Director

That the Board adopt and authorize the Chairman to sign the Resolution which approves and authorizes the County Administrator to sign the Mobility Enhancement Grant Agreement with the Florida Commission for the Transportation Disadvantaged.

On March 15, 2018, in regular session the Board approved the submittal of an application for the Mobility Enhancement Grant. Escambia County was awarded $50,000. This grant agreement is to accept the award of those funds.

BACKGROUND:

On March 15, 2018, in regular session the Board approved the submittal of an application for the Mobility Enhancement Grant. Escambia County was awarded $50,000. This grant agreement is to accept the award of those funds.

BUDGETARY IMPACT:

10% match of $5,000 is funded with gas tax revenues, and is included in the Mass Transit Budget.

LEGAL CONSIDERATIONS/SIGN-OFF:

Kristin Hual, Assistant County Attorney, has reviewed and the signed the Resolution, and the Florida Commission for the Transportation Disadvantaged Mobility Enhancement Grant Agreement.

IMPLEMENTATION/COORDINATION:

Upon approval of this recommendation, the Chairman will sign the Resolution, and the County Administrator will sign and execute the FY2018/19 Mobility Enhancement Grant Agreement.
