RECOMMENDATION:

Recommendation Concerning the Request for Disposition of Property for the Facilities Management Department - Robert E. Dye, Facilities Management Interim Department Director

That the Board approve the Request for Disposition of Property Form for the Facilities Management Department, for property which is described and listed on the Disposition Form, with reasons for disposition stated. The listed items have been found to be of no further usefulness to the County; thus, it is requested that they be auctioned as surplus or disposed of properly.

BACKGROUND:

Escambia County policy establishes the procedures for disposing of surplus or obsolete equipment. The surplus property listed on the attached Request for Disposition of Property has been checked, declared to be obsolete and/or of no use to the County, and suitable to be auctioned or properly disposed.

POLICY/REQUIREMENT FOR BOARD ACTION:

This Recommendation is in compliance with FS 274.07 and BCC Policy B-1,2, Section II, Procedures for Disposition of County Property.

IMPLEMENTATION/COORDINATION:

Upon approval by the BCC, all property will be disposed of according to the Disposition of County Property Policy.
