RECOMMENDATION:

Recommendation Concerning the Request for Disposition of Property for Extension Services - Nick Simmons, County Extension Director

That the Board approve the Request for Disposition of Property Form for Extension Services, for property that is described and listed on the Disposition Form, with reason for the disposition stated. The listed item has been found to be of no further usefulness to the County; thus, it is requested that it be auctioned as surplus or disposed of properly.

BACKGROUND:

Escambia County policy establishes the procedures for disposing of surplus or obsolete equipment. The surplus property listed on the attached Request for Disposition of Property has been checked, declared to be obsolete and/or of no use to the County, and suitable to be auctioned or properly disposed.

POLICY/REQUIREMENT FOR BOARD ACTION:

In compliance with FS 274.07 and BCC Policy B-1, 2, Section II, procedures for Disposition of County Property.

IMPLEMENTATION/COORDINATION:

Upon BCC approval, the property will be disposed of according to the Disposition of County Property Policy.
