RECOMMENDATION:

Recommendation Concerning the Award for Three Animal Transport Units - Paul Nobles, Purchasing Manager, Office of Purchasing

That the Board authorize the Interim County Administrator to sign the Purchase Order to Bowie International, LLC, per the terms and conditions of PD 18-19.039, Animal Transport Unit for 3 units at $23,905 per unit, for a total of $71,715.

BACKGROUND:

The Invitation to Bid was advertised on March 18, 2019 in the Pensacola News Journal. Nine firms were notified of the solicitation. Six firms downloaded the solicitation. One firm responded to the solicitatoin on April 2, 2019.

These units are being mounted to current Ford F250's.
