RECOMMENDATION: |
Recommendation Concerning Contract Award for Re-Bid Old Courthouse 2nd Floor Restroom ADA Modifications - Paul Nobles, Purchasing Manager, Office of Purchasing
That the Board approve and authorize the County Administrator to sign the Agreement between Escambia County, Florida, and Emerald Coast Constructors, Inc., per the terms and conditions of PD 17-18.078, Re-Bid Old Courthouse 2nd Floor Restroom ADA Modifications, in the amount of $53,030.

BACKGROUND: |
The legal advertisement for this "Invitation to Bid" was advertised in the Pensacola News Journal on August 6, 2018. A non-mandatory pre-solicitation conference was held on August 22, 2018. Three firms were represented at that meeting. Bids were received from three contractors on September 27, 2018. Emerald Coast Constructors, Inc. is the lowest most responsive and responsible bidder. |
BUDGETARY IMPACT: |
The Board approved the 2015 HUD Annual Action plan on July 23, 2015, which provided funding for a County Facility Handicapped Accessibility Improvement Project.

The Office of Purchasing will issue the Attorney's Standard Form of Contract Form A: Construction - A/E Designed and Purchase Order. |
