RECOMMENDATION:

Recommendation Concerning Agreement for Equine Services between Escambia County, Florida, and Panhandle Equine Rescue, Inc. - John Robinson, Animal Services Division Manager

That the Board take the following action concerning the Agreement for Equine Services between Escambia County, Florida, and Panhandle Equine Rescue, Inc.:

A. Approve the Agreement; and

B. Authorize the County Administrator to sign the Agreement.

[Funding: Fund 001, General Fund, Cost Center 250207, Account 58201]

BACKGROUND:

This Agreement provides the terms and conditions whereby the County agrees to contribute for the County's current FY2018/2019, the sum of $20,000 for Panhandle Equine Rescue, Inc. to provide suitable shelter, required feed, veterinary care and transportation for those equines in the custody or under control of the Animal Shelter.

Senior Assistant County Attorney Kristin Hual has reviewed and approved the Agreement.
