Recommendation Concerning the Issuance of Fiscal Year 2018/2019 Purchase Orders in Excess of $50,000, for Contracts Managed by Management and Budget Services - Stephan Hall, Budget Manager, Management and Budget Services

BACKGROUND:
The issuance of these Purchase Orders during the first week of October 2018 is necessary to ensure continuity of services traditionally  provided by the Board of County Commissioners to the citizens of Escambia County.

These allocations are included in the Fiscal Year 2018/2019 Budget.

The Warren Averett Purchase Order is for the County's annual audit contract.  This Contract was awarded by the Board on July 14, 2014, following an RFP in compliance with Florida Statutes 218.391.

The SMG purchase order is for the SMG basic management fee and food and beverage commissions as contained in the Contract approved by the Board on February 16, 2012, and amended on May 21, 2015.

The Florida Department of Health purchase order is to fund the County's contribution to the Health Department pursuant to the provisions of Section 154.01(3), Florida Statutes. The Florida Department of Health in Escambia County will submit for Board approval a Resolution authorizing the Contract with the State of Florida Department of Health for Operations of the Escambia County Health Department.
 
BUDGETARY IMPACT:
Funds are available in the Fiscal Year 2018/2019 Budget.
