That the Board discuss the use of County-owned, Gulf-front property, 16400 Block Perdido Key Drive.

BACKGROUND:

The subject property, located at 16470 Perdido Key Drive, was acquired on February 7, 2014. The land purchase for $3,142,396 was funded through a grant from US Fish and Wildlife Service ($2,364,522) and Local Option Sales Tax ($777,874). The parcel was recommended for acquisition due to a high priority ranking by the US Fish and Wildlife Service for conservation of the Perdido Key beach mouse and the former condominium footprint that could be utilized to provide parking and public access to the Gulf of Mexico.
