RECOMMENDATION:

Recommendation Concerning the Request for Disposition of Property for the Neighborhood & Human Services Department -Tonya Gant, Neighborhood & Human Services Department Director

That the Board approve the two Request for Disposition of Property Forms for the Neighborhood & Human Services Department for all items of equipment, which are described and listed on the Request Forms, with reason for disposition stated. The items are to be auctioned as surplus or disposed properly.

BACKGROUND:

Escambia County policy establishes the procedures for disposing of surplus or obsolete equipment. This policy and procedure is in accordance with Florida Statue 274.06.

POLICY/REQUIREMENT FOR BOARD ACTION:

This recommendation is in compliance with the Board's Policy Section II, Part B.1, Procedures for Disposition of County Property

IMPLEMENTATION/COORDINATION:

Upon approval by the Board and document execution, the Neighborhood & Human Services department will remove property tag and return the tag and signed Disposition to the Clerk of the Circuit Court. The Clerk’s Office will remove the equipment from the Neighborhood and Human Services Department’s inventory.
