Recommendation Concerning Supplemental Budget Amendment #053 - Stephan Hall, Budget Manager, Management and Budget Services

That the Board adopt the Resolution approving Supplemental Budget Amendment #053, Article V Fund (115), in the amount of ($328,982), to recognize an adjustment to the fund balances from prior years due to amended revenue recording entries for Santa Rosa, Okaloosa, and Walton Counties, and to appropriate this adjustment in the Fiscal Year 2017/2018 State Attorney, Public Defender, and Court Technology Budgets.

BACKGROUND:

Escambia County has Interlocal Agreements with Santa Rosa, Okaloosa, and Walton Counties for centralized purchasing ability for the ARticle V Technology Funds, these agreements were created in FY2006. Escambia County performs all the budgeting, purchasing, and disbursement functions associated with these budgets and revenues.

These budgets need to be amended to reflect the actual/amended revenues collected in prior years and amend the current year's fund balance appropriation within the State Attorney, Public Defender, and Court Technology FY17/18 Budgets.

BUDGETARY IMPACT:

This amendment will decrease Fund 115 in the amount of $($328,982).
