Recommendation Concerning the Funding Allocation to FAMU National Alumni Association Pensacola Chapter - Commissioner Lumon May, District 3

That the Board approve the funding allocation of $1,000 from Commissioner Lumon May's discretionary fund to support FAMU National Alumni Association Pensacola Chapter.

BACKGROUND:

The funding is in support of the FAMU vs. Southern University double header baseball game held at the Pensacola Maritime Park on Saturday, May 25, 2019.

BUDGETARY IMPACT:

As part of the Fiscal Year 2018-2019 Budget approved by the Board, each Commissioner received $50,000 to use at their discretion.

Upon Board approval, the County Administrator's Office will work with the FAMU NAA Pensacola organization to obtain the necessary paperwork to process a payment voucher.
