RECOMMENDATION:

Recommendation Concerning an Appointment to the CareerSource Escarosa Board of Directors - Tonya Green, Neighborhood & Human Services Director

That the Board confirm the new appointment of Russell Green, Service Manager, Barnes Electric Company, to satisfy the apprenticeship requirement to the CareerSource Escarosa Board of Directors. Mr. Russell's term will begin July 1, 2019, and will end on June 30, 2022.

BACKGROUND:

In accordance with Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA), Public Law 113-128 (ii), requires the Board to have a representative of a labor organization or training director, from a joint labor-management apprenticeship program, or if no such joint program exist in the area, such a representative of an apprenticeship program in the area, if such a program exists.
