RECOMMENDATION: |
Recommendation Concerning a Purchase Order to South Central Planning and Development Commission for MyGovernmentOnline.org Software and License Fees - Tim Tolbert, Building Official/Building Services Department Director
That the Board approve and authorize a Purchase Order, in the amount of $84,399.84 to South Central Planning and Development Commission (SCPDC), for the use of the MyGovernmentOnline.org (MGO) Software Suite, for the period of October 1, 2019, to September 30, 2020. The cost will be divided between the Building Services Department and the Information Technology Department.

BACKGROUND: |
Each year, the Building Services Department and the Budget Services Department, Information Technology Division, have shared equally in the cost of the land records management software for all users in Escambia County. On May 25, 2017, the Board approved a Software License and Service Agreement with South Central Planning and Development Commission (SCPDC) for the use of the MyGovernmentOnline (MGO) Software Suite, at an annual cost of $84,399.84, replacing the Accela Civic Platform Software. The MyGovernmentOnline Software Suite includes the My Permit Now and Inspection Anywhere software and license fees, Planning & Zoning Services software, Solutions Center software, and the MyAddressNow GIS Integration software. County staff has carefully examined the Software License and Service Agreement and determined that it will be beneficial to renew the Agreement for all users. |

Funds are available in Fund 001, General Fund, Cost Center 270102, IT Applications, and Fund 406, Building Inspections Fund, Cost Center 250111, Building Inspections Administration. |
