RECOMMENDATION:
Recommendation Concerning the Contract Award for Elevator Maintenance Services for Escambia County Facilities - Paul Nobles, Purchasing Manager, Office of Purchasing.

That the Board approve and authorize the Acting County Administrator to sign the Agreement Relating to Elevator Maintenance Services for Escambia County Facilities between Escambia County and Otis Elevator Company, per the terms and conditions of PD 17-18.091, Elevator Maintenance - Various Locations, in the amount of $46,800.

BACKGROUND:
This contract replaces the current contract for Elevator Mainatenenace which expired on December 31, 2018. Awarding a Contrct, PD 17-18.091, Elevator Maintenance for Various Locations to Otis Elevator Company, for a period of three years, with the option to extend for two additional one-year periods, for Elevator Maintenance for an annual amount of $46,800 and approvimg the Agreement for Elevator Maintenance - Various Locations PD 17-18.091.
BUDGETARY IMPACT:
Funding: Fund 001, General Fund, Facility Maintenance, Cost Center 310203, Object Code 54601 - $43,260; Fund 113, Library Fund, Libraries, Cost Center 110502, Object Code 54601 - $1,920; Fund 352, Local Options Sales Tax III, Parks & Recreation Department, Cost Center 350229, Object Code 54601 - $1,620.

The agreement was prepared by Kristin D. Hual, Senior Assistant County Attorney.
PERSONNEL:
All work associated with this recommendation was done in-house and no additional staff was required.
POLICY/REQUIREMENT FOR BOARD ACTION:
This recommendation is in compliance with the Code of Ordinances of Escsambia County, FL 1999, Chapter 46, Finance, Article II Purchases and Contracts.
IMPLEMENTATION/COORDINATION:
The Office of Purchasing will issue the Agreement and Purchase Order.
