| RECOMMENDATION: |
Recommendation Concerning Amendment of Agreement, PD 15-16.039, Insurance Brokerage Services - Paul Nobles, Purchasing Manger, Office of Purchasing
That the Board approve and authorize the County Administrator to execute the Amendment of Agreement for Insurance Brokerage Services (PD 15-16.039) between Escambia County, Florida, and USI Insurance Services, LLC, providing for an adjustment of the Consultant's annual fee from $90,000 to $130,000 annually.

| BACKGROUND: |
In order to protect the County's financial risk, the County requires additional loss control services as well as additional insurance brokerage services to obtain worker's compensation and mass transit insurance coverage.
The Request for Qualifications was advertised in the Pensacola News Journal on Monday, April 4, 2016. Twelve responses were received on Monday, May 2, 2016. The Selection Committee Short-Listed to five firms on Friday, May 13, 2016. The Short-Listed firms were as follows:
Arthur J. Gallagher & Co.
Dawson Companies
Public Risk Insurance Agency
USI Insurance Services, LLC
Whitman & Whitman, Inc.
Discussions were held on Friday, May 20, 2016. The Selection Committee on that date selected USI Insurance Services, LLC to begin negotiations. Negotiations were held on Friday, May 26, 2016 establishing the fees. |
