RECOMMENDATION:
Recommendation Concerning Supplemental Budget Amendment #202 - Stephan Hall, Budget Manager, Management and Budget Services

That the Board adopt the Resolution approving Supplemental Budget Amendment #202, Law Enforcement Trust Fund (121) in the amount of $371,181, to recognize additional revenues from various law enforcement activities, and to appropriate these funds into the Sheriff's Law Enforcement Trust (LET) Fund Budget pursuant to Florida Statute 932.7055 to pay vouchers submitted for payment to various outside agencies totaling $35,500; the remainder of the funds totaling $335,681 will be budgeted in Reserves.
BACKGROUND:
Per F.S. 932.7055, certain law enforcement activities generate a revenue stream that must be appropriated into the Law Enforcement Trust to be expended by the Sheriff. These funds support various law enforcement related activities in Escambia County.

WSRE TV Foundation, Inc. - $2,500
American Cancer Society - $15,000
The Escarosa Coalition on the Homeless, Inc. - $5,000
The Escambia County Public Schools Foundation for Excellence, Inc. - $5,000
Boys and Girls Clubs of the Emerald Coast, Inc. - $8,000
BUDGETARY IMPACT:
This amendment will increase Fund 121 by $371,181.
