RECOMMENDATION:
Recommendation Concerning the Request for Disposition of Property for the Mosquito Control Division - J. Taylor "Chips" Kirschenfeld, Director, Department of Natural Resources Management

That the Board approve the Request for Disposition of Property Form for the Mosquito Control Division, for property described and listed on the Disposition Form.  The items have been found to be of no further usefulness, and it is requested that they be auctioned as surplus or disposed of properly.
BACKGROUND:
Escambia County policy establishes the procedures for disposing of surplus or obsolete equipment. The surplus property listed on the attached Request for Disposition of Property (PN 25695 and PN 05851) have been checked, declared to be obsolete and/or of no use to the County, and suitable to be auctioned or properly disposed.
BUDGETARY IMPACT:
There is no financial or budgetary impact with this Disposal Recommendation.
LEGAL CONSIDERATIONS/SIGN-OFF:
There is no legal action with this Disposal Recommendation.
PERSONNEL:
Approval of this Disposal Recommendation requires no additional personnel.
POLICY/REQUIREMENT FOR BOARD ACTION:
This Recommendation is in compliance with BCC Policy Section II, B-1, Procedures for Disposition of County Property.
IMPLEMENTATION/COORDINATION:
Mosquito Control Division management will ensure compliance of procedures and processes for Disposal purposes after Board approval.
