RECOMMENDATION:

Recommendation Concerning Supplemental Budget Amendment #191 - Stephan Hall, Budget Manager, Management and Budget Services

That the Board adopt the Resolution approving Supplemental Budget Amendment #191, Article V Fund (115), in the amount of $401,410, to recognize additional $2 Recording Revenues from prior fiscal years for Santa Rosa, Okaloosa, and Walton Counties, and to appropriate these funds for the technology requirements of the State Attorney, Public Defender, and Court Administration in those counties.

BACKGROUND:

Escambia County has Interlocal Agreements with Santa Rosa, Okaloosa, and Walton Counties for centralized purchasing ability for the Article V Technology Funds, these agreements were created in FY2006. Escambia County performs all the budgeting, purchasing, and payment functions associated with these budgets and revenues.

These budgets need to be amended to recognize prior year revenues due to some adjusting entries for financial reporting that left out a portion of the funds for each of these counties, SBA#191 corrects and adjusts those balances to the proper funding levels.

BUDGETARY IMPACT:

This amendment will increase Fund 115 in the amount of $401,410.
