RECOMMENDATION:
Recommendation Concerning Allowing the Choral Society to Use the Artel Gallery for a Fundraising Event - Jack R. Brown, County Administrator 

That the Board take the following action concerning the use of the Artel Gallery:

A. Approve the use of the Artel Gallery space for the Choral Society to hold a fundraising event on Friday, June 23, 2017, from 5:00 p.m., until 11:30 p.m.;

B. Grant permission for the Choral Society to serve beer, wine, and alcohol at this event once they provide the required insurance paperwork to Robert Dye, Risk Manager; and

C. Require the Choral Society to have the Artel Gallery cleaned up by 10:00 a.m., on Saturday, June 24, 2017.
BACKGROUND:
On January 23, 2017, the Artel Gallery was approached by Mr. Charles Smoke with the Choral Society to use their space to hold a fundraising event on Friday, June 23, 2017, from 5:00 p.m., until 11:30 p.m.  Mr. Smoke also asked for the approval to serve wine, beer, and alcohol at this event and agreed to clean up after the event in time for the Artel Gallery to open at their normal time of 10:00 a.m., on Saturday, June 24, 2017.
