Recommendation Concerning Supplemental Budget Amendment #080 - Stephan Hall, Budget Manager, Management and Budget Services

That the Board adopt the Resolution approving Supplemental Budget Amendment #080, Local Option Sales Tax III, (LOST) Fund (352), in the amount of $73,000, to recognize proceeds from a State of Florida Department of Transportation Local Agency Program (LAP) Agreement, and to appropriate these funds for design of drainage improvements and sidewalks along Massachusetts Avenue from Hollywood Avenue to Mobile Highway.

BACKGROUND:

On March 2, 2017, it is anticipated the Board will approve an LAP agreement between the Florida Department of Transportation and Escambia County, Florida, for the design of drainage improvements and sidewalks along Massachusetts Avenue from Hollywood Avenue to Mobile Highway. Project costs are anticipated to be $211,000, with $73,000 to be reimbursed in accordance with the LAP agreement.

BUDGETARY IMPACT:

This amendment will increase Fund 352 by $73,000.
