RECOMMENDATION:

Recommendation Concerning the Funding Allocation for the Carpenter's Creek Appreciation Day - Commissioner Robert Bender, District 4

That the Board approve funding $500 from Commissioner Robert Bender's discretionary funds for the Carpenter's Creek Appreciation Day and Cleanup scheduled for April 27, 2019.

BACKGROUND:

Emerald Coastkeeper's will hold their 2nd Annual Carpenter's Creek Appreciation Day on Saturday, April 27, 2019. In addition to cleaning up Carpenter's Creek, they will have food and entertainment as well as kayak, canoeing, and paddle boarding.

BUDGETARY IMPACT:

The Board approved $50,000 in the Fiscal Year 2018-19 Budget for each Commissioner to use as discretionary funds.
