Recommendation Concerning the Reallocation of Capital Improvement Program Funds - Joy Jones, P.E., Engineering Department Director
That the Board approve the reallocation of funds from Fund 352, Local Option Sales Tax (LOST) III, Cost Center 210107, Transportation and Drainage (T&D), in the amount of $296,044, to the following projects:

BACKGROUND: |
Pursuant to the recommendation for approval of Contract PD 18-19.022, for the Lake Charlene Sediment Catchment Project, (Utlility Services for $296,043.87, bid opened March 21, 2019) also on this BCC agenda for April 16, 2019, this recommendation is a request to transfer available funds to Contract PD 18-19.022.
The Lake Charlene Sediment Catchment project will be constructed in-line with existing stormwater infrastructure for the purpose of improving water quality within the Lake Charlene watershed, located in District 2. The project location is in the three-way intersection of Clydesdale Drive, South 69th Avenue, and Lake Charlene Drive in the Bridle Trail Estates neighborhood. The project includes retrofitting an existing stormwater drain pipe within the Lake Charlene watershed with a CDS® Stormwater Treatment unit by Contech® Engineered Solutions, including the installation of a baffle box for flow diversion. Upon installation of the stormwater treatment unit and baffle box, the excavated roadway and curb and gutter will be repaired/replaced, and permanent traffic striping and permanent vegetation will be installed in all disturbed areas.
