RECOMMENDATION:
Recommendation Concerning Supplemental Budget Amendment #043 - Stephan Hall, Budget Manager, Management and Budget Services

That the Board adopt the Resolution approving Supplemental Budget Amendment #043, Other Grants and Projects Fund (110), in the amount of $5,000, to recognize proceeds from a Volunteer Florida Federal Fiscal Year 2019 Emergency Management Performance Grant (EMPG) Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) Program Grant Contract, and to appropriate these funds to implement the CERT Program. These funds are being provided to continue the effort to engage, educate, and train local citizens in their role as it relates to emergency preparedness, response, recovery, mitigation, and public health measures for all hazards.  
BACKGROUND:
On December 6, 2018, the Board approved the Volunteer Florida Federal Fiscal Year 2019 Emergency Management Performance Grant (EMPG) Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) Program Grant Contract awarding Escambia County $5,000 to implement the CERT Program.  Federal funds are being provided to continue the effort to engage, educate, and train local citizens in their role as it relates to emergency preparedness, response, recovery, mitigation, and public health measures for all hazards.  
BUDGETARY IMPACT:
This amendment will increase Fund 110 by $5,000.
