RECOMMENDATION:

Recommendation Concerning the Request for Disposition of Property for Visit Pensacola, Inc. - Stephan Hall, Budget Manager, Management and Budget Services

That the Board approve the Request for Disposition of Property Form for Visit Pensacola, Inc., for property which is described and listed on the Disposition Form. The listed item an HP Desk 600 Computer (Property Tag 62190), has been found to be of no further usefulness to the County; thus, it is requested that it be property disposed of. The computer's motherboard cannot be repaired.

BACKGROUND:

Escambia County policy establishes the procedures for disposing of surplus or obsolete equipment. The surplus property listed on the attached Request for Disposition of Property form has been checked, declared to be obsolete and/or of no use to the County, and suitable to be auctioned or properly disposed of. The computer's motherboard cannot be repaired.

POLICY/REQUIREMENT FOR BOARD ACTION:

This recommendation is in compliance with FS 274.07 and BCC Policy B-1,2, Section II, Procedures for Disposition of County Property.

Once approved, the department will coordinate the disposal of the items listed.
