RECOMMENDATION:

Recommendation Concerning Supplemental Budget Amendment #040 - Stephan Hall, Budget Manager, Management and Budget Services

That the Board adopt the Resolution approving Supplemental Budget Amendment #040, Other Grants and Projects Fund (110), in the amount of $73,219, to recognize and appropriate prior year funds available in the HUD Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG) Program. These ESG funds will be utilized for homeless prevention and rapid rehousing activities.

BACKGROUND:

The HUD Emergency Solutions Grant had a remaining balance that is not recognized in this year's budget. These prior year funds were not rolled over in the current year and need to be appropriated to be utilized for the ESG for homeless prevention and rapid rehousing.

BUDGETARY IMPACT:

This amendment will increase Fund 110 by $73,219. No matching funds are required.
