RECOMMENDATION:
Recommendation Concerning First Year Option to Renew PD 16-17.093, Public Safety Uniforms and Accessories - Paul Nobles, Purchasing Manager, Office of Purchasing

That the Board approve the utilization of the first of two possible one-year renewal periods, as outlined in Section 2, Term, of the Agreement Relating to Uniforms and Accessories, for Public Safety Uniforms and Accessories with Galls, LLC, per PD 16-17.093, Public Safety Uniforms and Accessories. The original Agreement was approved by the Board on November 30, 2017.

BACKGROUND:
The legal advertisement for this "Invitation to Bid" was advertised in the Pensacola News Journal on September 18, 2017.  Three bids were received on October 18, 2017.  Galls, LLC is the lowest most responsive and responsible bidder.

LEGAL CONSIDERATIONS/SIGN-OFF:
The original agreement was prepared by Kristin D. Hual, Senior Assistant County Attorney.
PERSONNEL:
All work associated with this recommendation was done in-house and no additional staff was required.
POLICY/REQUIREMENT FOR BOARD ACTION:
This recommendation is in compliance with the Code of Ordinances of Escambia County, FL 1999, Chapter 46, Finance, Article II, Purchases and Contracts.
IMPLEMENTATION/COORDINATION:
Upon Board approval, the Department will submit a purchase requisition to the Office of Purchasing for a Purchase Order to be issued.
