Recommendation Concerning Supplemental Budget Amendment #057 - Stephan Hall, Budget Manager, Management and Budget Services

That the Board adopt the Resolution approving Supplemental Budget Amendment #057, Local Option Sales Tax Fund III (352), in the amount of $500,000, to recognize proceeds from a First Amendment to an existing State of Florida Department of Transportation Economic Development Transportation Project Fund Agreement (EDTPFA), and to appropriate these funds for construction of transportation facility improvements for the Muscogee Road Freight Corridor along County Road 184 (Muscogee Road), from Beulah Road to Carlisle Drive.

BACKGROUND:

On September 22, 2016, the Board approved a State of Florida Department of Transportation Economic Development Transportation Project Fund Agreement (EDTPFA) for construction of transportation facility improvements for the Muscogee Road Freight Corridor along County Road 184 (Muscogee Road), from Beulah Road to Carlisle Drive. On February 15, 2018, it is anticipated the Board will approve a First Amendment to the existing EDTPFA which will provide an additional $500,000 for the project. (LOST III Project 16EN3695)

BUDGETARY IMPACT:

This amendment will increase Fund 352 by $500,000.
