That the Board approve and authorize the County Administrator to execute the following Change Order #1, to Merritt Veterinary Supplies, Inc., Vendor ID #133193, for the continued purchase of necessary Veterinary supplies and equipment.

BACKGROUND:
In June of 2016, Merritt Veterinary Supplies Inc., Vendor #133193 was awarded a bid to provide veterinary supplies to Escambia County Animal Services. In October of 2016, Purchase Order #170700 was issued to Merritt Veterinary Supplies Inc., to purchase veterinary supplies and equipment. This recommended Change Order will increase the funds to an amount needed to purchase veterinary supplies throughout the fiscal year.
BUDGETARY IMPACT:
Funding is available in the Fund 001, General Fund, Cost Center 250202.

POLICY/REQUIREMENT FOR BOARD ACTION:
This recommendation is in compliance with the provisions of The Escambia County Florida Code of Ordinances, Chapter 46, Finance, Article II, Purchases and Contracts.
IMPLEMENTATION/COORDINATION:
Upon approval of this recommendation, a Change Order will be transmitted to the Office of Purchasing for processing.
