RECOMMENDATION:

Recommendation Concerning Supplemental Budget Amendment #038 - Stephan Hall, Budget Manager, Management and Budget Services

That the Board adopt the Resolution approving Supplemental Budget Amendment #038, Mass Transit Fund (104) and Federal Transit Administration (FTA) Capital Projects Fund (320), in the amount of $125,538, to recognize the difference between what was budgeted and the funds actually received from the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) and the Federal Transit Administration (FTA), and to appropriate these funds for ADA Paratransit service and operating expenses associated with the Escambia County Area Transit System (ECAT).

BACKGROUND:

Escambia County Area Transit (ECAT) was awarded funds for the 2016 FTA Grant FL2017-003-00 and the 2014 FTA Grant FL90-X848. This Supplemental Budget Amendment recognizes the difference between what was budgeted and was awarded for these two grants.The 2014 FTA Grant FL90-X848 will provide $55,828 to Baldwin County per the grant agreement.

BUDGETARY IMPACT:

This amendment will increase Fund 104 by 38,032 and Fund 320 by $87,506.
