RECOMMENDATION:

Recommendation Concerning the Pensacola Pelican Drop Fireworks Exhibition - Jack R. Brown, County Administrator

That the Board approve, and authorize the County Administrator to sign, the Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement for the Pensacola Pelican Drop Fireworks Exhibition between Escambia County, Florida, and Gallery Night Pensacola, Inc., and Pyro Shows, Inc., for the Fireworks Exhibition on January 1, 2017, at approximately 12:00 a.m., CST at the Intendencia Street Parking Garage located on the corner of Baylen Street and Intendencia Street on the fifth floor (roof level).

BACKGROUND:

In order to use a County facility a Hold Harmless Agreement(s) is prepared with the Agency/Agencies requesting the use. Gallery Night Pensacola, Inc., has requested the use of the County's Intendencia Street parking garage for the Pensacola Pelican Drop Fireworks Exhibition.

The Agreement was reviewed and approved as to form and legal sufficiency by Kristin Hual, Assistant County Attorney.
