RECOMMENDATION:

Recommendation Concerning Supplemental Budget Amendment #123 - Stephan Hall, Budget Manager, Management and Budget Services

That the Board adopt the Resolution approving Supplemental Budget Amendment #123, Article-V Fund (115), in the amount of $126,717, to recognize additional funding provided by Okaloosa County to support the technology needs of the State Attorney's Office, as required by F.S. 29.008. Funds will be used to support the technology needs related to the State Attorney's Office in Okaloosa County.

BACKGROUND:

Escambia County has recieved a check in the amount of $126,717 from Okaloosa County to support the technology needs ot the State Attorney's Office located in Okaloosa County. As required by F.S. 29.008 each County must contribute if necessary beyond the $2 Recording Fee to support the technology needs of the Courts, Public Defenders, and State Attorney's Offices. This additional contribution will assist the State Attorney in performing thier required duties in Okaloosa County.

BUDGETARY IMPACT:

This amendment will increase Fund 115 in the amount of $126,717.
