RECOMMENDATION:

Recommendation Concerning the Approval of the Second Amendment to Antenna Mounting Space License Agreement between Escambia County and New Cingular Wireless PCS, LLC - Michael D. Weaver, Public Safety Department Director

That the Board take the following action concerning the Second Amendment to the Antenna Mounting Space License Agreement between Escambia County and New Cingular Wireless PCS, LLC:

A. Approve the Amendment; and

B. Authorize the Chairman to sign the Amendment and any subsequent related documents, pending Legal review and approval, without further action of the Board.

BACKGROUND:

New Cingular Wireless PCS signed an Antenna Mounting Space License Agreement with Escambia County on June 26^th, 2014, as amended April 5, 2018, to mount communications equipment on the counties Public Safety radio tower located at 90 & 9 Ranch Rd. Lessee desires to replace existing equipment with new equipment as defined in the amended agreement. The amendment replaces exhibit B with exhibit B-1 providing: listing of licensee’s antennas and equipment to be replaced.

Andrew Hamilton, Escambia County Communications Division Chief, will be responsible to monitor and implement the provisions of the amendment.
