Recommendation Concerning the Funding Allocation to Community Health Northwest Florida - Commissioner Lumon May, District 3

That the Board approve the Funding Allocation of $500 from Commissioner Lumon May’s Discretionary Fund to sponsor the Community Health Northwest Florida Cancer Awareness Event.

BACKGROUND:

The funding will support the purchase of breast cancer educational material that will be given to participants during the event that will be held on Tuesday, October 15, 2019, 8:00 a.m.-10:00 a.m.

BUDGETARY IMPACT:

As part of the Fiscal Year 2018-2019 Budget approved by the Board, each Commissioner received $50,000 to use at their discretion.
