RECOMMENDATION:

Recommendation Concerning Supplemental Budget Amendment #133 - Stephan Hall, Budget Manager, Management and Budget Services Department

That the Board adopt the Resolution approving Supplemental Budget Amendment #133, Local Option Sales Tax Fund III (352), in the amount of $60,000, to recognize proceeds from the Santa Rosa Island Authority (SRIA), and to appropriate these funds for the purchase of a Palm Tree Trimming Lift on Pensacola Beach.

BACKGROUND:

On May 25, 2017, it is anticipated the Board will approve an Interlocal Agreement between Escambia County and the SRIA relating to the purchase of a Palm Tree Trimming Lift on Pensacola Beach. The SRIA agrees to provide funding from the Island Improvement Fund in an amount not to exceed $60,000. The SRI Public Works Budget under the County will cover the operation and maintenance of the Palm Tree Trimming Lift

BUDGETARY IMPACT:

This amendment will increase Fund 352 by $60,000.
