RECOMMENDATION:

Recommendation Concerning Reallocation of Funds for Park Mowing - Michael E. Rhodes, Parks and Recreation Department Director

That the Board approve the reallocation of funds from the Capital Improvement Program - Park Development Project, in the amount of $468,000, to the Parks Mowing Project to fund contract services for mowing of neighborhood parks and grounds mowing and trimming of athletic parks for this Fiscal Year.

[Funding Source: Fund 352, "LOST III," Cost Center 350229]

BACKGROUND:

Escambia County Parks and Recreation Department staff requests Board approval to transfer $468,000 from the Park Development Project to the Parks Mowing Project to fund contract services for neighborhood park mowing; and grounds mowing and trimming of athletic parks for this fiscal year.

BUDGETARY IMPACT:

Funds are available in Fund 352 "LOST III", Cost Center 350229.

POLICY/REQUIREMENT FOR BOARD ACTION:

This recommendation is in compliance with the Escambia County, FL Code of Ordinances, Chapter 46, Article II, Section 46-44, Application; Exemptions; and Secton 46-64, Board approval, and Award a Purchase Order.

IMPLEMENTATION/COORDINATION:

Upon Board Approval, a budget amendment will be sent the Office of Management and Budget for processing.
